Souvely is a Shopify Product Personalizer for merchants selling engraved, monogrammed, and custom products. Customers personalize with text or images on the product page, and you receive the design details with the order. Starter and Unlimited can also add personalization fees at checkout.

Install Souvely from the Shopify App Store, enable the Souvely storefront theme embed (Theme settings → App embeds), create a personalization rule, assign it to a product, then test on your online store. The in-app Setup checklist walks through each step.

No. Souvely uses a theme app embed. Turn on Souvely storefront in the theme editor and save — no liquid edits required.

Depending on your rule: text, image upload, or both — on the front, back, or both sides. You can set character limits, fonts, size limits, and optional personalization areas on a product mockup.

On Starter and Unlimited you set a charge for text and/or image on each side (where supported). When a shopper personalizes, matching fee line items are added in cart and checkout. Free includes text and image personalization but cannot charge shoppers at checkout — upgrade to unlock fees.

Fee products are created for checkout and kept out of the normal assignable catalog. Shoppers shouldn’t browse them as standalone products.

Open Souvely → Orders for personalized line items, text, sizes, and design previews. You can also open the order in Shopify admin.

Free is $0 ongoing (no time limit) for up to 10 personalized products. It includes text and image personalization, front and back, areas, placement, product and collection assignment, design previews, order details, and analytics. Charging shoppers at checkout requires Starter or Unlimited. See Pricing.

Starter is $9.99/mo for up to 30 personalized products. Unlimited is $19.99/mo for unlimited products. Both include everything in Free and let you charge shoppers for personalization at checkout. Free stays at 10 products without checkout fees.

No. Souvely uses flat monthly pricing — no per-order fees, no usage-based charges, and no revenue share of your sales or personalization fees. You choose Free, Starter, or Unlimited; shopper checkout fees (on paid plans) are separate and optional.

Yes. Free, Starter, and Unlimited all allow assigning rules to products or Shopify collections (product caps still apply on Free and Starter).
