Smart Promotions FAQ

Souvely: Smart Promotions helps Shopify merchants create, preview, and publish storefront promotions — percentage or fixed discounts, volume deals, bundles, and buy-X-get-Y — with suggestions, clash warnings, and Impact reporting. Live promotions slash prices on the storefront when the theme app embed is enabled.

Yes. New installs get a 30-day trial at Scale-level features so you can test live promotions, targeting, and A/B tools before choosing Starter, Growth, or Scale. There is no separate Free plan.

Starter is $19/mo (up to 3 live promotions). Growth is $39/mo (up to 25 live, plus A/B tests, targeting, and Impact reporting). Scale is $59/mo (unlimited live promotions, plus intelligence A/B and advanced targeting). All plans are flat monthly Shopify Billing charges.

Open Promotions → Create promotion, set the offer and products, then Create & publish (Slash prices on the storefront is on by default). That saves the promotion and turns it live under Active. Use Create as draft if you want to preview first, then Slash prices on storefront from Preview when ready.

Drafts (Slash prices off) appear under Inactive or All, not Active. Publish with Create & publish or turn on Slash prices on storefront from the list or Preview. Also enable the Smart Promotions prices app embed in your theme so sale prices show on the storefront.

No liquid edits. Enable the Smart Promotions prices app embed in Theme settings → App embeds, then save. Checkout discounts sync through Shopify’s discount / Function stack when a promotion is live.

A/B tests and audience targeting are available on Growth and Scale. Intelligence A/B (auto challenger) is on Scale. Starter focuses on core live promotions within its live-promotion limit.
